The Knicks legend was caught eating fries like wings during the NBA Finals, and fans can’t look away

NBA commissioner defends Trump’s presence at finals amid mixed reaction from fans
NBA Commissioner Adam Silver is defending President Donald Trump’s attendance at Game 3 of the NBA Finals in New York City, calling him a ‘real Knicks fan.’ The hosts of ‘Fox & Friends’ discussed the mixed reaction from fans, including both cheers and applause, as well as the extensive security measures that resulted in long check-in times for attendees. This section highlights the political divide surrounding Trump’s public appearances at major sporting events.
Maybe Clyde Frazier thought he ordered boneless fries from his courtside seats in Game 3 of the NBA Finals.
Knicks fans are still reeling from Monday night’s 115-111 win over the Spurs and the realization that one of their all-time greats is eating fries like he’s eating boneless wings.
“This is worse than Zuckerberg trying to drink water,” wrote one fan on Twitter. That’s a reference to the Facebook founder trying to pull the plug during a Congressional hearing.
Let’s get back to focusing on Clyde and the fries. Watch as he handles the fry like a drum.
It’s not the first time Clyde, 81, has gone viral for the way he eats French fries.
In 2024, the Knicks legend was spotted at a game eating cupcakes without using his hands. His TV colleague, Mike Breen, at the time was of the opinion that it was Clyde’s way of staying clean and pure.
“Here’s a guess — he doesn’t want to get grease on his fingers and have a chance to touch the magic suit he looked so good in,” Breen said while noting that it’s surprising his friend would even eat fries in public.

This theory of staying fresh and clean makes sense, but the chicken wing approach doesn’t add up because in the latest video, Clyde’s fingers are full of potatoes.
In a 2019 interview, Frazier talked about his diet, but not particularly his French antics.
“I played at 205 (pounds) and I’m 205 today,” the Basketball Hall of Famer said.
What is her secret to staying at her playing weight? Clyde started eating healthy in the 1960s and 1970s and has maintained a clean lifestyle with no fries here and there.

“I eat sunflower and pumpkin seeds and an apple and my sweet tooth,” he said. Apart from that, Clyde said that his work includes jogging around his home and doing yoga.
Fried food like bone wings may seem strange to some, but if a legend like this uses this method, it may be time for the rest of us to do the same. Be careful. This guy is still in amazing shape at 81 years old.
