Spielberg’s ‘Revelation Day’ shows real UAP cover-up, says UFO expert

As Steven Spielberg’s new sci-fi thriller “Reveal Day” dominates the box office, one longtime UFO investigator says the film reflects fact more than fiction.
Joshua Golembeske, the film’s producer and former MUFON (Mutual UFO Network) investigator, told Fox News Digital that the hidden location of the film is exactly the same as the real testimony of the Capitol Hill spy about unidentified phenomena (UAPs).
For Golembeske, host of “Cosmic Disclosure” on Gaia.com, the long-standing stigma surrounding UFOs is finally lifting. He was very surprised to see Spielberg’s film portraying the accounts of those who told the truth and praised the filmmaker for portraying extraterrestrials as humane rather than menacing.
“[He] he did the right thing, because what he did was based on real events, real information, not fear spread by the media,” he said.

He noted the film’s scenes depicting children’s encounters as described in UFO books, where extraterrestrials use “screen memories” to disguise themselves as familiar animals such as owls or deer.
“So if a child remembers a really weird experience, they’ll remember, ‘Why were there owls in my room and deer?’ Then I was taken out and taken to the woods and taken to a house that looks like a fairytale with lights everywhere,” said Golembeske. “Well, what was actually happening was ETs in your room taking you out to a UFO or a spaceship somewhere in the woods. This sounds unbelievable, but it’s been reported for decades and decades, and this film tries to shed light on it.”
Spielberg revealed in a recent interview that he was “converted” by the subject of UFOs and is now a “believer.” His inspiration for “Revelation Day” reportedly stems from deep dives into documents and recent congressional testimony, in which senior military and intelligence officials have gone public.
The film’s release comes at a time when UAPs and alleged government cover-ups are making headlines in the real world. Last week, Golembeske went to Washington, DC, to attend a press conference on Capitol Hill regarding the incident.

At that event, UAP spokesman and former Air Force intelligence chief David Grusch accused intelligence agencies of hiding billions of dollars in secret government spending from Congress to hide their information about UAPs and alien species.
Golembeske said the key to Grusch’s testimony is that UAPs are “real,” “the government has been covering them up for a long time,” whistleblowers are “threatened,” and there are many types of other countries.
“I thought that it shocked me beyond belief that David Grusch in front of the world, Congress behind him, admitted that the US government knows that non-human intelligence is real, and there is a list of them, and we are dealing with what has been hidden for a long time,” said Golembeske.
The hearing drew a coalition of legal advocates, including Reps. Eric Burlison, R-Mo., Jared Moskowitz, D-Fla., and Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla., called for more transparency, accountability, and legal protections for whistleblowers.

Burlison said lawmakers have continued to pressure companies and defense contractors to obtain records they believe remain classified despite recent disclosure efforts.
Last September, Burlison made headlines after releasing MQ-9 drone footage from an alleged October 2024 UAP attack off the coast of Yemen, which he said was delivered to his office “dead Tom Clancy style.”
The June briefing comes weeks after the Trump administration released a large trove of previously classified UAP records, including military reports, intelligence data, and witness accounts that have long been hidden from the public. Lawmakers and whistleblower advocates cited the release as evidence that the government is being transparent about the UAP investigation, while saying vast amounts of information remain largely classified.
For Golembeske, the real “day of revelation” – when the government publicly admits that humanity is not alone in the universe – would be the collapse of the world.

According to Golembeske, investigators suspect that the government has hidden technology from other countries that could change the world forever, including free machines with unlimited power and advanced medical systems. He said this information is still classified because it will affect the socio-economics around the world.
“Obviously, the oil and energy industries will not like a free energy device to come out, and weapons may be used,” he said.
However, he believes that revealing the truth can increase human consciousness, an idea he says is reflected in Spielberg’s film.
“It looks like [be] pulling us in and seeing and experiencing communication to expand our awareness,” Golembeske said, pointing to the writings of the late Harvard psychiatrist Dr. John Mack, who says regular contact with ETs is a quick way to “enlightenment.”
Golembeske said that in the end this knowledge will force people to question the origin of man and the nature of the universe.
“A simple UFO sighting will change a person’s life forever,” he said.
