“The View” host Joy Behar told Vice President JD Vance during a break on Tuesday’s liberal talk show that she should run for president.

“You told him during the break that he should run for president because he has a good heart,” said executive producer Brian Teta when he spoke to Behar.

“I think it is, however, a Republican. Remember, I’m not a Republican,” Behar confirmed.

Vance appeared on the show to discuss his new book, “Communion: Finding My Way Back to Faith,” and was pressed on a variety of topics, including Jeffrey Epstein, immigration, the economy and more.

“I think it’s possible, I voted for Michael Bloomberg once for the mayor who should have been — Bloomberg who should have been a Republican,” Behar continued. “I don’t have a problem with Republicans at the city level because they need a little discipline. But at the national level, I want someone with a good heart. And those are more than the Democratic Party, in my opinion.”

“They care about the poor. They help people,” he added. “The Republican Party is about saving taxes for rich people. So, I’m not a Republican.”

Behar, a frequent critic of the Trump administration and Republicans on the show, also told Vance he was “fine” during a commercial break on the show Tuesday.

Vance brought it up when he came back from commercial saying, “Joy said when we were off the air that ‘I’m fine,’ which I think is about the best endorsement I’ll ever get out of Joy Behar.”

Behar replied, “Republican.”

Behar floated Vance’s 2028 run against California Gov. Gavin Newsom.

“Honestly, as I told you at the beginning of this conversation, I don’t think you’re a bad person,” he said to Aunt “Behind the table.” “So, if he’s going up against, say, Gavin Newsom, it’s going to be an interesting debate to see those two because they’re both smart.”

Vance left with stakeholders on the economy, immigration and black history, with fellow host Sunny Hostin repeatedly insisting he was fired by the administration.

The vice president told “Gutfeld!” On Tuesday night, he was surprised by the way those in charge of freedom treated him.

“I expected them to be brutal, and they were just a little brutal. It wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be,” Vance said.

“I thought Sunny, the woman to my left, was going to call me a racist. In fact, it was Whoopi, the woman to my right, who called me a racist. So expectations were ignored,” Vance joked.
