Jasveen Sangha, known as the “Queen of Ketamine,” was sentenced to 15 years in prison for her role in the death of actor Matthew Perry, by United States District Judge Sherilyn Peace Garnett.
Sangha is the third of five people to plead guilty in the actor’s October 2023 drug overdose death, avoiding a trial scheduled for September.
According to the Associated Press, prosecutors recommended that he be sentenced to 15 years, accusing him of “supplying drugs” that cost him his life.
“For many years…Sangha operated a drug trafficking business out of his North Hollywood residence,” prosecutors said, according to a statement released by the Department of Justice. “To promote his business, [Sangha] he marketed himself as an exclusive dealer who catered to high-end Hollywood clients…During [Sangha] he worked to expand and profit from drug trafficking, knowing – and ignoring – the enormous damage his behavior was causing.”

‘QUEEN OF KETAMINE’ TO PLEAD IN MATTHEW PERRY’S DRUG OVERDOSE CASE
His attorney wrote that because he has no criminal record and that he has been a good prisoner since his indictment in 2024, the time he has served should be sufficient.
He pleaded guilty to five felony counts, including supplying ketamine that resulted in Perry’s death in August 2025, as well as one count of maintaining a place where drugs are involved, three counts of distribution of ketamine and one count of distribution of ketamine resulting in death or serious bodily injury.
He pleaded guilty to selling four vials of ketamine to another man, Cody McLaury, hours before he died of a drug overdose in 2019. McLaury had no relationship with Perry.

Prosecutors dropped three other charges unrelated to Perry’s case, one count of distribution of ketamine and one count of distribution of methamphetamine.

Perry was found dead in the hot tub of her Pacific Palisades home after drowning.
According to the New York Times, Perry’s stepfather, Keith Morrison, addressed the court, telling Sangha: “I feel bad for you Miss Sangha. I don’t hate you. You’re a drug dealer.”
Apart from Sangha, Dr. Salvador Plasencia, Eric Fleming, Perry’s assistant Kenneth Iwamasa and Dr. Mark Chavez were also charged in Perry’s death. Iwamasa, Fleming and Chavez all agreed to terms in 2024, while Dr. Plasencia later pleaded guilty to four counts of distribution of the narcotic in July 2025.

Fleming, who worked at Sangha, allegedly delivered 25 vials of ketamine on Oct. 14 and an additional 25 vials on Oct. 24. The player’s assistant injected Perry six to eight times a day between Oct. 24 and Oct. 27, authorities said.
The lethal dose was given to Perry from the Sangha’s stash.
