‘Storage Wars’ star Laura Dotson says Darrell Sheets fears for her life

Darrell Sheets was “scared for his life” before his death, “Storage Wars” star Laura Dotson said.
The former reality star was 67 when she died on April 22 of an apparent suicide. Dotson, who appeared on “Storage Wars” as an auctioneer with her husband Dan Dotson, spoke to Us Weekly about the alleged cyberbullying she endured in the years leading up to her death.
“His family told us that this has been going on for three years,” said Dotson. “[It happens to] even strong men you think won’t get their feelings hurt. Cyberbullying is a real thing. This made him feel inferior, and it obviously bothered him.”

He added, “He was afraid for his life [and] to the people around him. He didn’t know why he was targeted. “
On Wednesday, the Lake Havasu City Police Department in Arizona issued a press release saying they responded to a missing person call. When the police arrived they found a man with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
Mashidi was pronounced dead at the scene and his death is under investigation, according to a press release. His body was taken to the Mohave County Medical Examiner’s office for further investigation. No further details were shared at the time.

Shortly after the news of Sheets’ death, his “Storage Wars” co-star, Rene Nezhoda, posted a video on Instagram, saying his friend was being bullied online.
“Darrell has been writing a lot about the guy who was bullying him online and harassing him, and hopefully [law enforcement] look at that guy and it’s not just passing,” Nezhoda said in the video.

Sergeant Kyle Ridgway, public information officer for the Lake Havasu City Police Department, told Fox News Digital, “We are aware of these allegations of cyberbullying and that is part of an ongoing investigation.”
When talking to Us Weekly about Spreadsheets, Dotson explained, “He had other things going on. His life and some things that may have contributed to that. [his death]. Relationships, love interests and things will go up and down, but [he] indeed, he was a wonderful, loving person who believed in God.

He also recalled that Sheets had a strong reaction when his friend died by suicide. He remembered saying, “I can’t believe anyone would do that. They must be in so much pain.”
“So it was very difficult for us to believe that this happened,” he said.

Spreadsheets rose to fame as the main buyer on “Storage Wars,” a reality show that follows bidders competing to buy abandoned storage spaces. He has appeared in over 160 episodes, since 2010.

Spreadsheets earned the nickname “The Gambler” during his time on the show because of his high-risk bids on final units. She appeared on the show with her son, Brandon Sheets.

According to to Various, Sheets suffered a heart attack in 2019 and retired from television and moved to Arizona. He owned and operated an antique store called Havasu Show Me Your Junk.
