A Pennsylvania mother convicted of accidentally killing her infant son while high has been arrested again on suspicion of child endangerment.
Pennsylvania prosecutors have charged Arissa Ward, 32, with felony child endangerment and misdemeanor reckless endangerment after a two-year-old babysitter was found wandering in the middle of the road with no shoes or socks on, a Pennsylvania police spokeswoman told Fox News Digital.
At approximately 8:00 a.m. Tuesday, Pennsylvania State Police, Troop J, at York Station were notified that a small child had been found in the middle of the road on W Main St. in Windsor Borough, York County,” said a Fox News Digital spokesperson.
“The investigation found, the attacker of the small child, Arissa Ward, fell asleep, the child left the house. The child was found in the middle of the road by a passer-by who touched the PSP. The child was found without shoes,” concluded the spokesperson.
According to a probable cause affidavit obtained by Law & Crime, the boy was “cold to the touch due to the temperature.”

The boy’s mother took him to the Ward at around 6:30 in the morning after the incident.
The woman “stated that the front door was not locked, which is unusual,” according to the affidavit. “He entered the house and took it [the boy] upstairs in Ward’s room, the door was open. [The mother] he said Ward was sleeping and he had to wake him up,” the affidavit continued.

The mother then placed her son in Wadi’s bed, after which Wadi fell asleep and had to be woken up again, Law & Crime reported, citing court documents. He told law enforcement that he did not close the bedroom door behind him, but closed the front door when he left.

About 30 minutes later, Ward tweeted, “Where [the boy]???” in terms of Law and Crime.
The boy’s mother then began calling Ward, but received his voicemail five times she called, according to court documents. The police called the mother at 10 am to inform her that they had her son.
When the police knocked on Wadi’s house, he allegedly answered and said, “I was looking after the child and I just woke up, what’s going on?” Police asked if the child was “missing,” and he replied, “Yes, yes, but it’s not mine,” the affidavit said, according to Law & Crime.

“[The boy’s mom] I dropped him off with me this morning,” she allegedly continued. “He’s a little boy, 2 years old… he’s got curly blonde hair.”
When the soldiers found the boy, they contacted Children and Youth Services, according to the Law & Crime report. The group told them to “check on Arissa Ward.” Ward previously spent two days in jail after choking her two-month-old son while drunk.
In December 2016, after a night of drinking with her partner, Ward fell asleep on the couch next to her baby. The child died of constipation and has marijuana in his system.
By pleading not guilty to manslaughter, Ward should have received a minimum sentence of three months. However, Judge William T. Tully instead sentenced him to just two days of house arrest, citing his surviving daughter, who was 3 years old at the time, according to Penn Live Patriot News.

“I’m going to give you a chance to do a little punishment. This will be a chance to prove yourself,” Tully told Ward. “You have to pull yourself together. Your daughter doesn’t need a little mother. She needs a perfect mother.”
Wadi posted bail in the latest child endangerment case and will return to court on May 5, Law & Crime reports.
Fox News Digital reached out to the Windsor Police Department and the York County Courthouse for comment but did not immediately receive a response.
