Former Vice President Kamala Harris came under fire Thursday after pushing what many considered “bad ideas” in her “wrong thinking” of the Democratic Party.
During Wednesday night’s live broadcast of the “Win With Black Women” podcast, Harris suggested that the Democratic Party get an “expanded playbook” of ideas ahead of the 2026 midterm elections.
“I think we need a playbook that’s expanded in a way that we invite all ideas, which we say… look, this is a time where there are no bad ideas, no bad idea that I would like to call,” Harris said. “And with no bad ideas coming together, we’re talking about what we need to do and think about doing in the Electoral College. We’re talking about the idea of reforming the Supreme Court, including expanding the Supreme Court. We’re inviting a discussion about multi-member districts.”

Harris suggested that, if and when the Democrats win back the Senate, the Senate Judiciary Committee should impose rules to “punish people for perjury” on Supreme Court justices and nominees.
“That we agree that it’s okay to have ethics rules for Supreme Court justices. And let’s put that in place. Let’s talk about citizenship in Puerto Rico and DC. These are the things I think we should do,” Harris continued.
Fox News Digital has reached out to Harris’ office for comment.
Harris’s views received widespread backlash across the X, with conservative commentators calling his views several “bad ideas”.

“They don’t have any policy ideas. It’s all brain rot for online workers,” notes Substack author Stephen Miller.
Broadcaster Erick Erickson wrote, “If a Republican didn’t say these things, the media would be impressed. But if a Democrat does it, the media takes it as legitimate because the media is on the same side. Anything that goes against the wishes of a Democrat is cheating and should be stopped.”
“Can you imagine Jake Tapper getting angry and waving his fingers in the air if Republicans suggested any of these things as an answer to losing?” RedState writer Bonchie wrote.
