Democrats outnumbered Republicans more than 6-to-1 among commencement speakers at America’s top colleges this year, according to a new report examining graduation ceremonies at top universities across the country.

The College Fix found that Democratic or Democratic-leaning speakers make up 86% of speakers at schools ranked in the top 100 universities by US News & World Report.

“The Fix reviewed public statements and donation records to determine speakers’ political leanings,” The College Fix reported Friday. “The numbers only include speakers at the main commencement ceremony, or if there are multiple events, graduation ceremonies. Some speakers did not publicly express political leanings and were counted as inactive in the analysis.”
