Five artists President Donald Trump should call to perform at the Freedom 250 concert this summer

With news that singers like Marina McBride and Bret Michaels have pulled out of performing at this summer’s Freedom 250 concert, the White House is likely scrambling to find replacement artists.
I mean, seriously, how can you replace the guy who had three seasons of “Rock of Love” on VH1?
Fear not, y’all, because I’ve curated a list of five ready-made, blockbuster acts that won’t be happy to comply with Donald Trump’s requests to rock the nation on his 250th birthday, but will absolutely bring the house down.
Not everyone on the list is an unabashed Trump supporter, but they all have a passion for their country and wouldn’t mind getting that call to take the stage at Freedom 250.

5. Kid Rock

Let’s start with the obvious, as American Badass has not been shy about giving a one-finger salute to liberals across the country.
The man known as Robbie Ritchie was a mainstay of the football team Turning Point USA in a different Super Bowl Halftime game, so he is known for putting his name to something politically charged.
I would pay good money to see Kid Rock call Trump on stage to help him with “Bawittaba,” which I’m sure will break the internet in no time.
OTHERWISE SAID USA’S PATRIOTIC SUPER BOWL IS POPULAR AS MILLIONS COME OUT FOR UNITY.
If the White House is looking to replace some of the other players who stepped down at next month’s festivities, Kid Rock needs to be near their list.
4. Megadeth

Guitarist and singer Dave Mustaine performs live on stage with Megadeth at Oslo Spektrum in Oslo, Norway, on June 5, 2018.
One guy who isn’t afraid to speak his mind when it comes to various topics is Megadeth frontman and guitarist Dave Mustaine.
The strawberry-maned metalhead has previously stated that he is politically homeless, but he has also expressed admiration for Donald Trump as a politician and businessman and was famously opposed to Hillary in the 2016 election when that sort of thing got him into hot water in Hollywood.
I’m sure Mustaine would jump at the chance to play a major event like the Freedom 250, if only he could get the added bonus of having it held over the heads of his rivals James Hetfield, Kirk Hammett, and Metallica’s Lars Ulrich.
Megadeth ripping through a rousing version of “Hangar 18” with fireworks flying and military jets burning overhead would be absolutely cinematic, so I need this to happen ASAP.
3. Lil Wayne

We couldn’t do all the rock and metal acts without a little rap flavor mixed in, right?

Many people might think that Nicki Minaj would be an obvious choice, what with her recent public support of the Trump administration, but I wanted to go with a different member of Young Money.
I don’t even know what Lil Wayne is into politics these days, but I do know that he has pretty much shied away from some of the leftist rhetoric many of his rap brothers have been so eager to spout for a long time.
There is also a presidential pardon that Trump granted Wayne back in 2021, when he was facing 10 years in prison on a weapons charge.
Mr. Carter would probably like to return the favor to Trump by keeping him off the hook, and I can’t think of a better way than to entertain America with a live performance of “Lollipop.”
2. KISS

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past two decades, you’ll know that KISS frontman and bassist Gene Simmons is both a regular and friend of President Trump, so it would make sense to have the Hottest Band in the Land rock the White House at Freedom 250.
Usually there are three or four members who have to sign off on things like this, but luckily for KISS fans, the other band members basically do everything Simmons and his frontman Paul Stanley tell them to do, and if they don’t comply, Demon and Starchild can find someone else to go along with the plan.

Stanley is not a conservative, for example, but he has accepted Trump’s honor in the past, so I’m sure he’ll be on board.
Can you imagine “KISS: Alive V From The White House” filming at Freedom 250?
That album will be triple platinum before you can blink!

1. Ted Nugent

This was probably the most obvious on the list, considering Ted Nugent’s hard right wing leanings and his “don’t-give-a-damn” attitude.
If people are offended that you’re doing this, there’s a good chance the Motor City lunatic will accept the invitation.
Nugent is probably the only guy who has taken more swipes at Barack Obama than Trump has, so it’s possible he’ll be at the Freedom 250 before he picks up the phone.

If Trump and Co. looking for a single, sure-fire addition to their concert lineup that won’t come from them due to public backlash, Uncle Ted is that guy.
He could run through his solo catalog like “Stranglehold” and “Cat Scratch Fever,” and if he really wanted to stretch his set into full-on stage manager mode, he could call on fellow Damn Yankees bandmates Tommy Shaw and Jack Blades (both of whom reportedly are closet fans) to put on a mini preunion reunion show.

I’ve been to a Ted Nugent concert before and it’s both politically and politically incorrect, a perfect combination to help mourn America’s 250th birthday.
