Ella Langley gives fans a behind-the-scenes look at her ACM Awards

Ella Langley gave her fans an inside look at her time at the Academy of Country Music Awards.

In an Instagram post shared Wednesday, the 27-year-old country music star let fans in on how she spent her day at the ACM Awards, including clips of her arriving at the venue, getting her hair and makeup done and being kicked out of the car when the night ended.

“Welcome today,” he says at the beginning of the video. He is heard telling the camera later in the video that “this job is not something you can do half-heartedly. You just have to work hard. Don’t be afraid to embarrass yourself.”

The video also showed his team’s reaction to his winning the award and watching him accept the award on television backstage. As she celebrates, her friends can be heard shouting on the TV for her to cry and “be vulnerable.”

“I’ve never cried when I won a medal,” he told the camera, as he got ready. “To all of you who feel bad if I don’t cry and this is your chance!”

Fans caught glimpses of Langley emerging from the makeup chair after receiving her hit, “Choosin’ Texas,” “the best CPR minute song,” singing the song as she pretended to give someone CPR.

“God I love you so much, your personality is everything 😍🙌,” one fan wrote in the comments section. Another added, “That’s why I love you girl, you’re as real as they come.”

“As a nurse, I’ll be singing Choosin’ Texas the next time I have to do CPR 🤠,” wrote a third fan.

Langley took home seven ACM awards on Sunday, breaking the previous record for most awards won in one year, which was set by Garth Brooks, Faith Hill and Chris Stapleton, who took home six awards in one night at the show in 1991, 1999 and 2016.

This singer has benefited from all the awards she was nominated for including female singer of the year, song of the year, single of the year, singer and songwriter of the year, visual media of the year, she took home two awards, and music event of the year.

She first gained attention when her song, “If You Should” went viral on TikTok, which led to her signing with Columbia Records/Sony Music Nashville. She later achieved more success when her song, “You Look Like You Love Me” from her 2024 debut album, “Hungover,” was streamed on TikTok.

“Everybody told me this song wasn’t going to work. They were all like, ‘What?'” he said on an episode of “This Weekend Past with Theo Von” in April about the 2024 hit. “After deciding it, [the label] was like, ‘We really think you need to go back and sing these verses.’ I was like, ‘I don’t sing.’ And they were like, ‘You need to sing it.’

He went on to say that he was “considered hard” and they told him “it’s going to be the worst song on the record.” It was her first single to chart on the Billboard Hot 100 and she won multiple awards at the CMAs and ACM Awards.

Her single, “Choosin’ Texas” made her even more popular, spending 10 weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100, making her the first female country artist to top the Hot 100, Hot Country, and Country Airplay charts at the same time.
