Jacob Fatu powerbombs Roman Reigns through the announce table on WWE Raw

NEWNow you can listen to Fox News articles!

Roman Reigns wanted Jacob Fatu in the ring for an “acknowledgment ceremony” on “Monday Night Raw,” despite the concerns of general manager Adam Pearce and Jimmy Uso.

Reigns learned the hard way from the old saying, “Be careful what you wish for.”

Without the signed contract that Fatu would have to “acknowledge” Reigns after losing the World Heavyweight Championship, Fatu would not have that.

Instead, he chose violence. He ignored Jey Uso to think about what he was doing. Fatu, instead, headbutted Uso several times.

“What do you think? You want me to come and confess to Roma?” Fatu said. “Oh no! You’ll beat me to admit that.”

Fatu had no time for anyone trying to talk him down. He was literally full of gas and no brakes. He got to the ring, stared down Reigns and they both went to work. The two exchange in the ring and it looks like Reigns will gain the advantage. He hit Fatu with a chair many times, trying to get Fatu to agree.

But the “Samoan Werewolf” was undeterred. Reigns went for a spear but was met with a superkick and a Tonga death grip. It was all down to the “King of the Nation.” He taunted Reigns as he continued to beat.

He then Powerbombed Reigns through the announce table. The attack did not end there. He hit Reigns with another Tonga death row as officials from behind tried to stop him.

Seth Rollins is trying to thaw the frosty relationship with Street Profits

Seth Rollins helped The Street Profits win a six-man tag match against The Vision as he eliminated Bron Breaker. Angelo Dawkins rolled the Austin Theory to success.

Rollins entered the ring to help Dawkins up. But when Breaker got back in the ring and lined up a spear, Rollins stepped aside and Dawkins took the damage. Montez Ford returned to the ring and wondered what Rollins was up to in the first place.

Rollins, Ford and Dawkins spoke in the background.

“If you guys are serious about taking the tag titles out of The Vision, it’s time we talk,” Rollins said, addressing Dawkins and Ford backstage.

Ford said there was no “we” in the conversation, and Dawkins wanted to hear from Rollins.

Rollins said he was “wrong” to tell Street Profits that all parties should keep their business to themselves.

“You know, Seth, you’re everything they say you are,” Ford said. “Everybody. The greatest of our generation. The reformer. But you know what they say again? You’re not to be trusted. We don’t need your a– to win the tag team championship. Bet on that.”

Street Profits will be aiming for team gold in two weeks when they face Logan Paul and Theory.

The AAA Mega Championship is the most prestigious title in Lucha Libre Worldwide (AAA) and possibly all of Lucha Libre depending on who you ask. The title was first defended on Monday night’s WWE show.

Dominik Mysterio put the belt on the line against The Original El Grande Americano. Mysterio took advantage of the Original El Grande Americano being interrupted by El Grande Americano. He scored 619 and a toad to claim the win.

The title defense came on the heels of WWE announcing a two-night Triplemania event in September. It will be the first time a AAA premier event is played over two nights.

“I was looking for someone to take my wish. Finally, you’re human. I’m so glad it was you,” Asuka said. “I’m proud of you.”
