Actress Elizabeth Banks admitted she “doesn’t understand” the 53% of White women who voted for President Donald Trump over Vice President Kamala Harris.

Banks urged women to emulate her “Hunger Games” character, Effie Trinket, and become “rebels” against what she described as a “fascist regime.”

“Effie is a role model, guys! I can’t understand how 53% of White ladies didn’t vote for Kamala. What were you thinking!” Banks said in an episode of the “Bustle” podcast that aired Tuesday, first reported by Variety.

Banks’ character appeared in all of the original “Hunger Games” films, including “Catching Fire” and “Mockingjay” Parts 1 and 2. Throughout the story, his character goes from being the mouthpiece of a dystopian government that runs games killing children, to eventually becoming a rebel working against them.

Banks urged American women to follow suit, saying, “I wish more of us would be revolutionaries!”

“To me, Effie is one of the characters with the biggest arc I’ve ever played because, obviously, she’s supporting this dictatorship that she’s benefiting from,” Banks said.

“It’s not over until he cares and realizes how wrong it is that they want to drag Katniss and Peeta into the games again,” he added.
