There is no way to get into professional wrestling.

A few other ways include discovering through bodybuilding competitions and other different sports that have nothing to do with wrestling.

For professional wrestler Scarlett Bordeaux, she told Fox News Digital in a recent interview that she got involved after falling in love with the sport at a young age.

“I worked in a theater for my first job and some of my co-workers were big indie fans,” he explained. “They were going to AAW every month. I didn’t know what the hell they were talking about when they were talking about going to a wrestling match every month, but one day I said, let me just go with you. I don’t want to go to prom, so let me go with you instead of going to prom.

“I loved it. I thought it was amazing. And within a few months of going to these indie shows, I was like, I want to do this. I feel like I can do this. I asked if I could help set up chairs, take out the trash, whatever I could do to be there. I just went up to the promoter of one show, and a few months later, it was December, Christmas, he asked me to get Santa. I didn’t know what a piledriver was, but I said yes, and I took piledriver, I went back and they threw me a bucket of ice and said welcome to business.

From there Bordeaux worked his way up in business. He appeared in a few independent promotions and won a few championships along the way.

PRO WRESTLING STAR TREVOR LEE SIGNS MLW DEAL, NEGOTIATING TERMS WITH COMPANY

She and her husband, a pro wrestler known as Killer Kross, moved up to WWE in 2019 and got their second spot in 2022. Their contracts expired in 2025 and both signed with Major League Wrestling (MLW) where they both play.

The road to success is always bumpy.

Bordeaux described one of the most serious things he took on during his career.

“There was a wrestler named Keith Walker. This guy, I want to say he was probably 6-foot-5, big dude, big dude. It was a choke slam. And if I tell you like my knees hit my forehead, like that, I was bent over so hard,” he told Fox News Digital. “Everyone thought it was great.

“The next month I did it. I was just a bummer for that. I just felt like there was a pop in my leg and I just kind of went limp and I was like, you’re never going to take that again. That was the worst bump I’ve ever taken.”

Fortunately, Bordeaux still competes at a high level and competes against some of the best pro wrestling that MLW has to offer.
