A viral video shows a Domino’s employee calmly handling a customer refund dispute

A viral video shows a Domino’s employee keeping his cool when confronted by an angry group demanding a refund.
The video, recorded by one of the customers, shows the group upset that the employee refused to refund the money because the guests did not return the pizza box to the store.
The employee gave out store credit, which was not well received by customers.

“You can just give me my money back,” one of the customers said in the video. “Can you really give me a refund because all the food was dry and bad.”
“I’m trying to give you credit,” the employee said calmly.

“We don’t live here,” answered a woman in the group. “We live an hour and a half from here.”
“You have to return the product for a refund,” the employee said.

The customer replied, “But that’s something you should have said on the phone.”
A Domino’s employee said it was a misunderstanding and assured the customer it wasn’t their fault, but noted that returning the product was a requirement for a refund.

However, the buyers insisted that he was rude.
“You [were] it’s really green,” said one of them.
The employee blew a kiss and said, “Have a good night” — which left customers skeptical.
“I can’t imagine asking for a refund of the money I already ate!”
“Did you just blow a kiss?” said someone off camera.
The video went viral on X, with many commenters sympathizing with Domino’s work.

“Isn’t it a good idea to deliver something if you expect a refund?” asked the poster of the video.
“Good Lord! I don’t even like sending food to a restaurant if they get my order wrong,” wrote one X user. “I can’t imagine asking for a refund of the money I already ate!”
A third user said, “Refund policies vary, but usually some proof or refund is expected.”

Some users praised the employee for keeping their cool during a heated argument.

“That’s ridiculous. This employee is better than me,” the commenter wrote.
