Abdul Carter deflects criticism from teammate Jaxson Dart as the New York broadcaster trashes him on air.

The social media controversy that erupted when New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart introduced President Donald Trump at a rally in New York must have ended because his teammate Abdul Carter, who took over for the move, has removed his criticism of Dart on social media.

Besides, this is not over yet.

Because now, the media has their say.

That happened as some liberal sites waved their hands about the fact that the first quarterback of an NFL legacy franchise would dare to introduce the president of the United States in a circle, while strong voices defended Dart’s right to do so and ripped the new Carter for being open about his criticism of his colleagues.

STAR STAR ABDUL CARTER STRUGGLES WITH TEAMMATE JAXSON DART INTRODUCES TRUMP AT NEW YORK RALLY

For the record, Boomer Esiason falls into the latter category.

The former Cincinnati Bengals and New York Jets quarterback hosts the Boomer and Gio show on WFAN in New York. And because Tuesday was the first day of the show since the long Memorial Day weekend when the whole Dart-Carter ordeal happened, Esiason got his first word in addressing the issue.

“This was a real mistake on Abdul Carter’s part, not on Jaxson Dart’s part,” Esiason said on air. “Jaxson Dart was asked to introduce the President of the United States. How many people get the opportunity to do something like that, regardless of who the president is. You might have hated Barack Obama, you might have hated Joe Biden. And some guys didn’t want to go to the White House because they didn’t like those presidents, just like some guys didn’t want to go to the White House because they didn’t like President Trump.”

Boomer then bombarded Carter’s attempt to resolve the disagreement — the only player on the Giants’ roster to go public in the first place.

“We’ve talked before as men,” Carter wrote to X in one of his since-deleted posts.

The truth is that Carter deleted that post and the first one where he said he thought Dart’s Trump’s introduction video was “s–t” from AI and added, “what are we doing, man?”

GIANTS ROOKIE BLITZES REPORTS HE WAS TRAINED FOR SLEEPING DURING TEAM MEETING.

“… To put this as a child on social media is ridiculous,” Esiason continued. “And when I heard, ‘Yeah, we talked man to man,’ there was only one man on that phone and that was Jaxson Dart.”

“You were a man who was late to meetings, you were a man who did not go along with your decision. You are a man who wanted to wear number 56, and by the way your 56 picture introduced Donald Trump many times, so I don’t want to hear this. You made another boneless mistake by going to social media.”

Carter deleting his posts about the entire issue suggests that he sees his actions as a wrong move. Either that, or he was forced to delete the post.

Either way, Esiason’s outcry and the removal of Carter’s post put an end to the matter.

(No it’s not.)

Esiason’s criticism has now reached liberal websites, which have found a way to criticize Esiason’s take while defending Carter and, of course, also blaming Dart for starting the whole thing in the first place.

And this is important to understand: The narrative that Dart started this whole episode with his tacit support for Trump is media bias glowing in neon.

Attending the inauguration of the officially elected leader of the United States is not controversial. Trump’s falling poll numbers don’t make it controversial any more than his general election and Electoral College victories do. Dart is allowed and, indeed, has the right to support anyone he wishes – including the guy who lives in the White House.

If Dart can do that without retaliation and criticism from his team mates and the media then it would be fair to retaliate. anywhere supporting athlete anywhere politician – and that includes liberal media icon Barack Obama or New York’s Socialist Mayor Zohran Mamdani.

If it is out of bounds (football name) to criticize an athlete for supporting Trump, it is not out of bounds (football name) to criticize an athlete for supporting Obama or Joe Biden or any socialist Democrats.

But the liberal media likes to make it seem like Trump’s support is somehow toxic because that’s their worldview, which they want to promote, and they want everyone to share.
