As rapper Drake delivers the latest promo for his upcoming album “Iceman”, it appears he’s playing with Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams in the process.
The Canadian artist posted a photo on Monday rocking a Green Bay Packers jacket in front of a pile of snow in downtown Toronto with the release date of his highly-anticipated album hidden inside. The promotion has led fans to try to speed up the process of melting heavy blocks.
The host who goes by “Kishka” eventually found the envelope, took it to Drake’s house in the area, and the May 15th release date was finally revealed for all to see.

The Packers even reposted pictures of Drake, with a simple “Hi” in their captions while tagging the famous rapper.
So, where does Caleb Williams fit in here?

However, as Williams helped lead the Bears to the playoffs, he dubbed himself the “Iceman” after coming from behind to pull off a dramatic victory in a remarkable 2025 campaign.
Then, Williams took it to the next level, trying to sell the nickname in March, although it was not Drake who was targeted, but Basketball Hall of Famer George Gervin. The four-time scoring champion and 12-time All-Star was nicknamed the “Iceman” throughout his career.
But now, Drake calls himself “Iceman.” And while it may just be a coincidence that Drake is wearing a Packers bomber jacket, he’s well known for lashing out at his “enemies”, whether it be direct or through things as subtle as his clothing.

Drake has been talking about this new album for a while now, releasing promos sparingly since last summer. Considering his love for sports, he made sure to play it to build anticipation for the album.
At Scotiabank Arena, home of the Toronto Raptors, Drake placed fake ice on two of the courtside seats he usually sits on when he attends NBA games. They were seen on April 12 – a 136-101 victory for the home team.
Meanwhile, Bears fans have learned to enjoy “Iceman” Williams, even if the games are a rollercoaster at times. The 24-year-old threw for 3,942 yards with 27 touchdowns and just seven interceptions, while leading the team to the playoffs with an 11-6 record.

The Bears ended up falling to the Los Angeles Rams in the Divisional Round in an overtime thriller. It wasn’t Williams’ best game, throwing two touchdowns, but three interceptions in the loss.
But the sentiment surrounding the Bears is that the No. 1 is the right guy to continue leading the franchise, especially when it comes to defeating different opponents like the Packers.
