FIRST ON FOX: A nonprofit advocacy group is launching a $5M nationwide ad blitz pushing the Senate to pass voter ID legislation as Republicans advance parts of the SAVE America Act through Congress in the coming months.
Restoration of America (ROA) told Fox News Digital that the campaign begins Monday, and includes a $3.1 million national television buy, with digital media targeting select states.
The group pointed to a poll it says shows 83% of Americans support a photo ID vote, arguing that the issue “is overwhelmingly supported by Americans every day.”
The effort comes as Senate Republicans show they are ready to overrule Democrats and prioritize reconciliation.

Sen. Lindsey Graham, RS.C., said Republicans plan to include elements of the SAVE America Act in a broader legislative package later this year, describing it as a “down payment” in the measure.
Meanwhile, Senate Majority Whip John Barrasso, R-Wyo., said Republicans are willing to “go it alone” using reconciliation – a process that allows them to bypass Democrats – as lawmakers work under a tight timeline set by President Donald Trump, who pushed the legislation to his desk on June 1.
The organization said its campaign is aimed at forcing the Senate to act on the voter ID law.

The centerpiece of the effort is a 30-second ad titled “Save America,” which will be aired on the national news showing “strong and liberal laws,” according to the group.
“As Americans, we are fair and reasonable,” the ad said. “83% of us are in favor of voting for photo ID.”
The ad goes on to argue that voter ID is common elsewhere.

“Actually, most of the civilized world wants it, but not us,” the ad said. “We need to be able to trust that only eligible Americans are voting.”
The site also targets both parties in Washington, not just Democrats, in the retail space.
“Democrats oppose voter ID for no good reason. Republicans love it, but it’s not working yet. What are they waiting for?” the ad says.
It closes with a direct call to action: “Call your United States senators and tell them to pass the Save America Act today.”
Restoration of America founder and CEO Doug Truax said the campaign was designed to restore trust in elections.

“There is nothing more important than restoring confidence in our elections,” said Truax. “We cannot have a country where people question the accuracy and fairness of our elections. The Senate needs to do whatever it takes to pass this law.”

Restoration of America describes itself as an umbrella network of conservative organizations focused on policy and voter-related issues, including the Voter Reference Foundation.
The ads go live on Monday, which coincides with a congressional recess that will send lawmakers back to their home states, where the campaign is designed to reach them directly.
