Border boss Tom Homan issued a fiery warning to the Texas Democrat after he promised to turn an ICE detention facility into a prison camp for former federal immigration agents and “American Zionists.”
Speaking on “Jesse Watters Primetime,” Homan refused to back down from Texas House candidate Maureen Galindo’s comments, telling her to “bring it.”
“You know, he’s obviously an idiot. The bottom line is, bring it on. I’m concerned about the threats from some of these Democrats,” Homan said Thursday.
The controversy began after Galindo’s campaign took to Instagram earlier this month, writing that if elected he would turn the “Karnes ICE Detention Center into a prison for American Zionists and former ICE human trafficking officials.”

“It will also be a breeding ground for abusers, which may be the majority of Zionists,” the document reads.
Galindo is running in the first race for a Texas congressional seat and has even said he has received “death threats” because of the position. He later clarified what he said, saying that he never said he was looking for “Jews in the camps.”
“I said I want to close all ICE detention centers and put the billions of American Zionists who fund prison programs that kill people involved in human trafficking in prison,” Galindo wrote.

But Homan made it clear that threats from the left will not stop the Trump administration’s immigration agenda.
“You can threaten charges and make arrests all you want. We are here [going to] keep doing the job,” said Homan. “So, keep threatening, you’re not going to stop us, [going to] head on.”

Homan praised the resilience of federal immigration officials and applauded the leadership of President Donald Trump.
“We’ve got the most secure border in the history of this nation because of President Trump’s leadership. We’re being arrested, we’re having records removed,” Homan said. “So, threaten all you want, you’re not stopping what we’re doing.”

Galindo’s comments drew criticism from two sides. Several prominent Democrats have distanced themselves from his campaign, including House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, DN.Y.
Galindo fired back at his party, accusing the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) of coordinating a smear campaign to protect his opponent, Johnny Garcia, a former sheriff’s deputy.
