The FBI has already “answered” a number of important questions in the investigation of the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner, the director of the agency Kash Patel revealed, telling Fox News that the information will be included in a future criminal complaint and shared publicly at a press conference later on Monday.
“I received a full report yesterday morning from our BAU [Behavioral Analysis Unit],” Patel shared with “Fox & Friends.”
“What you are doing does not mean that it provides direct evidence that will be used in court, but it examines what we have collected so far, including emails, posts on social media, witness interviews, interviews with people, family, friends and neighbors, so that we can give a complete picture of this person’s mind and his intention when we present a presentation in court,” he added.

Agents have been working “throughout the weekend” to compile information, Patel shared, adding that the agency is still in the process of finalizing the content compiled since the incident.
Specifically, Patel said investigators know when and how the suspect, 31-year-old Cole Thomas Allen of Torrance, California, arrived at the Washington Hilton hotel, how he got to the location in question and “how he was able to bypass security without being seen.”

“We answered all those questions, that’s why I wanted to introduce it [acting] attorney general [Todd Blanche] at a press conference later today, once the magistrate has confirmed or signed the criminal complaint…” said Patel.
“This is something that movies don’t write about, something like this, this situation, this type of tragedy, and thankfully, the quick response of law enforcement… we will be able to present to the world in less than 36 hours almost exactly what happened – the whole background of this person … that he knew, where he lived, who he was talking to, everything about ballistics, everything about ballistics.
“As you have seen, our evidence response teams were there so quickly. That is why we will be able to present this information to you.“

Pressed by program host Lawrence Jones on whether Allen was known and documented before the incident, Patel delayed what would soon be revealed to the public, noting that he could not “go ahead” with the Department of Justice and the federal Magistrate as the information was being prepared for public release.
“We have answered all those questions, and that is what we have been working on. America needs answers. President Trump is committed to transparency and accountability, and what we are doing with the team the president has assembled is to answer those questions as quickly as possible,” he said, emphasizing.
