Rod Stewart almost suffered a medical emergency mid-show just weeks after canceling several gigs due to health issues.
On Friday, the 81-year-old singer – who was performing at the Utah First Credit Union Amphitheater in West Valley City – caused concern after slowing down mid-concert.
In a video obtained by TMZ, Stewart became heavily dependent on various devices while still trying to sing. At one point, he turned and nodded to a group of backstage people who quickly got to know him.
One woman took out an oxygen tank, and another put a cold machine on his neck.

“This sounds ridiculous, especially after you canceled last night. You’re too sick to play but it’s okay to fly across the country for football?” wrote one Instagram user.
“So you beat all the people in San Diego who wanted to see you in concert but were able to go to the world cup I see! I’m a big fan of yours but I don’t think that’s good,” added another.
