A court document released by the White House revealed that the National Park Service (NPS) is planning to release water again after Independence Day to repair the damage after the alleged damage.
In the document, filed in federal court Thursday, NPS Deputy Director of Operations Frank Lands says that on June 9, US Park Police responded to a report of damage to the pond.
States said the damage to the pool included caulk on top of the foam cap being cut with a “sharp knife or razor blade” and “destruction of the glazing.” He said about 70 telephone poles were thrown into the lake.
Lands said NPS plans to take the demonstration pool out for repairs, including “inspecting and repairing any damage to the line,” and will begin “following the Independence Day celebration.”

Washington, DC, is expected to host large crowds for Independence Day celebrations celebrating America’s 250th anniversary. Arrangements were delayed due to additional incidents, including the National Mall marked “8647” and a message written in blood on the Washington Monument.
Among the incidents mentioned by the Ministry of Interior that took place at the National Mall are many “8647” signs. Executives have previously interpreted the number “86” as a political threat, pointing out its common use in the restaurant industry means to remove or refuse service, while 47 appears to refer to Trump as the 47th president.

In another case, a person used his own blood to write “I’m here” on the Washington Monument, according to a police report reviewed by Fox News Digital.
According to the White House, seven people have been arrested in connection with the alleged destruction of the dam, seven others have been issued federal citations, and 18 police reports have been filed.
This week, US Park Police asked for the public’s help in identifying a person captured on camera during an investigation into damage to a display pond and alleged vandalism of government property in Washington, DC. A video released by police shows what appears to be a person kneeling near the pond and reaching an arm into the water.
The White House released a statement on Thursday, saying “this is not a random attack – it is aimed at destroying the anti-American crackpots who despise a strong, proud and beautiful country.”
