The National Association of Muslim Police is looking into claims of antisemitism in the UK

The National Association of Muslim Police (NAMP) is under fire after it was revealed that a policy paper it promoted contained what critics called “dissident lies,” and it faced allegations that the organization was “infiltrated or controlled by Muslims.”
This latest embarrassment by British police authorities comes as the government continues to face criticism over alleged policing, particularly when it comes to anti-Israel and pro-British protests.
This paper from the organization, titled “From Prejudices To Present Policies: Confronting Anti-Muslim Hatred and Promoting Human Rights,” was recently obtained by The Spectator.
In it, NAMP’s then-Vice President, Khaldoun Kabbani, referred to Zionism as “a narrow, nationalistic, and colonialist ideology that promotes anti-Muslim hatred, among other forms of xenophobia, that distances it from inclusive and compassionate Jewish teachings.”

In addition to calling the IDF a terrorist group in Zionism, the paper concludes that “ultimately” the IDF’s actions following Oct. 7 “will be seen as terrorism, although possibly without reference to the Jewish religion.” The report appears to have been removed from the web, although it continues to be hosted online via an archive at the Wayback Machine.
Andrew Fox, a senior fellow at the Henry Jackson Society, told Fox News Digital that the paper is full of “contradictory lies and blood libels.”

Kabbani’s paper seeks to “dispel myths about education,” but he presents unsourced facts about Hamas’ Oct. 7.
In another section, Kabbani notes that “as the war began, Israeli and Western media reports began to spread alarming and unverified stories about violent acts committed by Hamas, including alleged beheadings and beatings. These reports had a major impact on the rise of hatred against Muslims.”

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer vowed on Thursday to tighten security in the Jewish community following the latest attacks, while urging Britons to unite against anti-Semitism. Facing accusations from angry British Jews that his government has repeatedly failed to protect them, Starmer promised to urgently increase funding for synagogues and other sites but insisted that the UK public must “come together” to “fight against public opposition”. Dr. Chen Kugel, head of the National Center for Forensic Medicine in Israel, told the media in November 2023 that many of the cremated bodies of the October 7 victims, including children, “do not have heads.” He admitted that “it was difficult to find out whether they were beheaded before or after death, and how they were cut.”
Kabbani also said that reports of 120 children killed by Hamas “have been challenged by recent revelations showing that not a single Israeli infant was injured during the said attack. It was later confirmed that only one child died two days after the attack, the circumstances of which involved IDF fire and no specific details.”

Contrary to its report, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said at least 29 people have died since Oct. 7 of their age provided on October 25 were children.
The Campaign Against Antisemitism’s Director of Investigations and Enforcement, Stephen Silverman, said in a public statement that the NAMP paper is “proof that the nation’s largest police organization has been infiltrated or controlled by Islamists.” Silverman called on those “responsible for publishing this dangerous act” to be “immediately investigated by their professional level departments and fired.”

The National Council of Police Chiefs did not respond to Fox News Digital’s questions about whether they were concerned about the NAMP paper, whether it would take action on it, and whether its statements were a public trust issue.

Fox News Digital also did not receive a response from NAMP or the British government.
Noting “rising antisemitism” in the United Kingdom, Fox said the NAMP policy paper was “completely inappropriate.” He said “while it is important for minority groups to discuss with the police to ensure that their issues are addressed, internal divisive groups, such as the Muslim police group, do not gain public trust. This practice must be stopped immediately and no police should be involved with this group going forward.”
