An 18-year-old murder suspect is being held in immigration custody after prosecutors say he helped lure a 15-year-old Missouri boy into an ambush where the girl begged for her life.

Yefry Archaga, 18, is charged with the March 12 murder of 15-year-old Miles Young in Greene County.

Jail records show Archaga is being held without bond and is subject to immigration liability.

A second suspect, Praize King, 18, is also charged with murder and armed robbery in connection with the murder.

According to court documents obtained by the Springfield Daily Citizen, the attack was planned.

Prosecutors say Archaga “arranged and framed a 15-year-old boy to be killed,” luring Young into what he believed was a meeting before ambushing him. The investigators said that the victim believed that he was meeting a girl, but he entered into an event involving many people.

Investigators say the young suspect picked up Young after leading him to believe he was meeting a girl, despite warnings that it might be a set-up.

Court documents obtained by KY3 describe how the group drove to Springfield discussing the plan before stopping to retrieve the second car. It is said that they then used two cars, including a black Mercedes, to track down where Young was and ambush him again.

When the car stopped, Young ran.

A witness told investigators Archaga, who was allegedly wearing a black snow mask and armed with a “Glock-style” handgun, chased the boy on foot.
