LAS VEGAS – WrestleMania is one of the biggest shows in sports.
WWE’s premier event, bringing Super Bowl fans together with the heavy action of wrestling. Top feuds in the company will end while fans hope for a big comeback or surprise appearance from one of their favorite stars.
For the pro wrestlers themselves, the event means something more. The culmination of everything they have worked for and the opportunity to showcase their skills to a crowd of thousands in the stadium and millions watching at home.

You can just look around this room and see that it includes many people. There are so many events going on. So many people can come and meet their favorite wrestler. And to me, that’s what it’s all about. It doesn’t matter what is going on in your life, a fight can just take you away and there is someone who loves it so much. It’s fun for me.
Alex Shelley
“A lot of people who don’t watch celebrity wrestling will watch WrestleMania. I feel like this is the Mecca on par with the Super Bowl. People who aren’t in the background, they only hear about celebrity wrestling, will watch this event. Our players and our athletes in this company, the people we work with and pull out everything to catch those people, pull out everything to catch them.”
Bayley
“To me, WrestleMania when I was a kid always felt like it was on another planet because of the theater because of the stage, the fireworks, the people in costumes – like, not just the wrestlers and the players but the people in the crowd. They treat it like they’re going to announce or go to a 50th wedding anniversary and they seem like they’ve been preparing for it for a long time. It’s on another plant, it’s so far out of reach because when you’re in the arena, everybody’s there, there’s nothing else what’s important in the world, you know that outside of that platform what’s important outside of that is and only you and now, 80,000, 90,000 people are experiencing it together.

“And for me, that’s a very special feeling that’s hard to describe unless you’re there. Even when you’re watching on TV, it’s like you want to be there. For me, it’s very important because my family and friends, you know, they don’t get to come to everything. They can’t come to every match as they would like, or their WrestleMania, they come together to go together to go out together and go together to go out together to go out of the house and go together to go together to go there together to go together to go they’ll be out there. for me it’s one of those rare times when everyone gets together. So, I believe that’s the same for the fans. It might be a group of friends that they see once a year and it’s at WrestleMania or you might just see your crazy uncle at WrestleMania and it’s a very special night!

“I think if everybody’s on the same wavelength, this is the culmination of everything you’ve worked for all year. This is the biggest show in pro wrestling. Everyone who puts in that effort makes this sport even bigger. He’s a spectacle. It’s the biggest thing in sports entertainment.”
Danhausen
“Everybody grew up watching WrestleMania. As a wrestler, that’s the dream. It’s the No. 1 thing in the wrestling world.”
Jacy Jayne
“I mean, it’s like our Super Bowl. You wait all year for it. It’s where legends are made and it’s the biggest show of the year. There’s a lot that goes into it and only the beset makes the card.”
WWE WOMEN’S CHAMP JADE CARGILL ON WHY SHE HAS AN EDGE OVER RHEA RIPLEY AT WRESTLEMANIA 42
Jade Cargill
“Our Super Bowl. All our storylines are coming to an end but also new storylines are being created because we have Raw on Monday, which is the biggest Raw of the year after WrestleMania because the headlines come out of ‘Mania. It’s the benefit of everything. Rhea’s storyline started in February at Elimination Chamber, and everything came out.’ the year, the biggest entry of the year, the best gear of the year … The biggest entertainment night of the year.
Ricky Saints
“WrestleMania is the culmination of all the hard work from the whole year until this moment where you go out and show everyone who you are and what you’re made of and I think it’s a great testament to the wrestlers themselves to make it to ‘Mania because it’s like finally being able to do what I’ve had a lifelong dream of wanting to be able to wrestle. You’ve had it since childhood, if you’ve never had that, I don’t know, that’s the kind of unworldly feeling you can have with it.”

“It feels like the first time every year that all of wrestling has come together in one event. So, even if you can’t afford tickets to WrestleMania, there are all these amazing independent shows going on that week that you can see, and everyone is just enjoying wrestling together. The Super Bowl of wrestling is the best way you can put it, in a strong way, to show love. In fact, I wasn’t allowed to watch wrestling when I was a kid, so I would go to these intimate shows a lot that allowed me to connect with the players and I didn’t understand the excitement of WWE, but it was the independent shows that got me, honestly.
Sol Ruca
“To hear some fans talk about what WrestleMania means to them because, again, I didn’t grow up watching wrestling, I wasn’t really a fan, but to hear some fans at the meet and greet is like, ‘I saved up for a whole year for this time,’ like, ‘I saved up so I could buy this merchandise and so we could go to the show and meet you, it’s really fun, people are really happy. Especially, people who are not in the business this full-time job.
Tony D’Angelo
“The Super Bowl of pro wrestling. It’s the culmination of everything you’ve done all year. All the hard work. All the training. All the ups and downs of what’s happened all year. I mean, WrestleMania is special. Every WrestleMania, something unexpected happens or someone wins that you didn’t think was going to win every time.”
